All-Party Parliamentary Group on Pneumococcal Disease Prevention in the Developing World
The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Pneumococcal Disease Prevention in the Developing World has been formed in response to the urgent need to improve child survival and tackle the devastating impact of pneumococcal disease in the developing world, and we were tasked with developing a website to present its face to the world and to help raise awareness via PR company Ruder Finn.
The site contains information, videos and a user feedback section where people can register to leave comments on the site. The news section is controlled by a CMS so that authorised astaff at Ruder Finn can add new news items at any time along with pictures for the news stories.
They can also upload resource files such as PDF documents that are then automatically added to the Resources page.

RSS feed
When a news item is added to the site, it can be added to the RSS feed if required. Site users can subscribe to the RSS feed on the home page or the news page.
We wrote the code that produced the XML file from the online news database and ensured that it validated as an accurate RSS feed.
