The
Bromley Youth Music Trust is one of the most prestigious and successful
youth music establishments in the country.
The site we produced for them contains information about the activities
of the BYMT and the dates, news, downloads and guestbook sections are kept up to date
by BYMT personnel who are able to log on to a password-protected
content management system where they can add, modify or delete items
within these sections.
In late 2001, when the Trust was threatened with closure by Bromley
Council, the web site played an important part in allowing people
to voice their opinions as well as giving out details of local councillors
and their email addresses so that local people could contact them
with their opinions.
Keeping the home
page fresh
The BYMT home page shows a random item of
news and the next three events in the calendar.
This helps to keep the site fresh each time someone logs on. The
news and events are held in a database on the server.
