Life After Five
Reaching the five year point since first diagnosis is a big milestone for breast cancer patients. However the threat of breast cancer returning continues to cast a shadow over the lives of women and their families.
Produced via PR company Ruder Finn, the Life After Five website was created for the benefit of women passing the five year mark since having been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The site contains a wealth of information for patients as well as a password-protected section for healthcare professionals.
One of the main features of the site is an interactive timeline - see more about this on the right.

The right way to use Flash
Flash allows us to create rich multimedia content and the Life After Five timeline is a good example of this.
It gives the patient information on the medical practitioners that they might meet on their journey both during the first five years and also after five years. It also gives information on some of the organisations who can help.
Eight video clips are integrated into the timeline where medical practitioners explain their roles.
