Our portfolio ranges from multi-national companies right down to small one man bands but also to local interests such as the site that we have built for the Petts Wood and District Residents’ Association.
An association of over 3,000 members, the PW&DRA wields a lot of influence in the local community and the site has been built and is being evolved to add another channel of communication to the members of the association.
Keeping it accessible
It is always important to ensure that a web site is fully accessible where possible and, in some, cases it is a legal requirement. As a proportion of the Petts Wood Residents’ Association is elderly, it was important that the text on the site was readable. Whilst the standard size is quite small, the site has been built so that the text can easily be enlarged whatever browser is being used.
As far as browser compatibility is concerned, we test all of our sites in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape and Opera.
