Wyevale East Nurseries
Wyevale East Nurseries is a trade-only cash and carry outlet serving all horticultural professionals throughout the UK.
We produced the site for them in 2008 and, as with many of our sites, it contains varied functionality and a customer management system to allow authorised staff at Wyevale East to control various parts of the site:

- News
- Testimonials
- Job opportunities
- Fact sheets
As the client already had a products and customer database built into the dedicated horticultural software that they use, we had to ensure that the site was compatible with that and write code to allow Wyevale East to upload current stock lists and customer information to the site.
Tech
Online ordering system
An online ordering facility was added that allows Wyevale East's customers to set up an online account, log in and see the products complete with the trade prices at their discounted rate.
Completed orders are then emailed to Wyevale East for manual fulfilment before being despatched to the customer. As well as the email, Wyevale East staff can log in to an administration area to view all orders.
An added facility is the ability to save orders before submitting so that a landscape gardener can build up a shopping list of potential plants for a project and freely revise this until it is ready to be sent to Wyevale East.
