We carry out permission-based email campaigns for several of our clients helping them to keep in touch with their subscriber base for various purposes:
Invitations to events
Sending out monthly ezines
Keeping them informed of communications campaigns
The emails can be custom-designed to your requirements and then sent out to your mailing list.
Tracking
But it doesn't end there. The system we use tracks the emails so that you can get back vital information that will help to increase the effectiveness of your company's marketing. We will then supply you with a full report on the campaign. This is sent back as an Excel file. The tracking includes the following:
Which emails have been successfully received and which have bounced.
Which recipients have opened the email.
Which links in the email each of the recipients has clicked on.
Who has asked to be unsubscribed from your list.
We also have the ability to automatically send a second email to a recipient if he/she clicks on a certain link in the email.
Keeping it legal
We will ensure that we comply with privacy and data protection law at all times and will ask you to do the same. We can manage your lists for you and will only send emails to those people who have subscribed to the list.
Costs
The cost of a campaign is made up of the design of the email shot, the database set-up and the sending. We will always be happy to give you a firm price before proceeding. These are the various elements of an email marketing campaign:
Design
The cost of the design of the email depends upon its complexity. A simple text email will be less expensive than a formatted HTML email containing several images.
Database set up
The initial cost of setting up your database will depend upon how we receive the data from you and how easy it is to convert it into the format we need. We can supply you with a template and instructions so that you are able to supply us with the data in the required format. Bear in mind that, once the initial database it set up, it is much easier, and therefore cheaper, to add new subscribers for subsequent campaigns.
Sending, tracking and reporting
The cost for sending is worked out on a sliding scale and becomes less costly as the number of recipients increases. There is a minimum charge of £100 for sending to up to 1000 recipients.
Tracking
Once the email is sent out, our system will automatically carry out the tracking of all events associated with the campaign. There is no extra charge for this - it is included in the cost of sending the email.
Report
After a fixed time, we will produce the final report from the tracking statistics and send this back to you as an Excel file. The report is colour coded to help you easily identify the actions taken by your subscribers. Again the cost for this is included in the sending price.
Department of Health / Munro & Forster
Food in Schools
We have produced several issues of the Department of Health's Food in Schools e-bulletin via their PR agency Munro & Forster (whose web site we also created). This is sent out to around 650 key stakeholders including teachers, local health specialists, suppliers and industry representatives and helps raise awareness of the Food in Schools initiatives.
Red Hot Locations
We have run several campaigns for Red Hot Locations, allowing them to keep in touch with an ever-growing subscriber base, informing them of upcoming events and other issues of relevance to the foreign direct investment field.
The email tracking has allowed Red Hot Locations to tailor their campaigns and to refine them in order to increase their marketing effectiveness.
