Professional Web Hosting

What makes a good web host? The most important aspect is reliability. As web designers, the last thing we want to be getting involved in is troubleshooting hosting problems. To that end we host all of our web sites with a professional web hosting company who regularly appear towards the top of the hosting performance tables.

We offer a hosting solution tailored to your needs. We can also, of course, register domain names and effect the transfer of existing domain names to our hosting provider.

The hosting package that we offer allows for expansion at any stage, so any of the items shown below can be added after the initial site is set up and running.

The costs are as follows (prices are per annum excluding VAT):

100MB web space (see note 1 below) £240
Price per extra 100MB £160
Domain forwarding (per domain) (see note 2) £20

Our hosting prices include ColdFusion functionality which allows sites to access databases as well as carry out many other functions. Most of the sites we have produced use ColdFusion as this gives us the flexibility to implement whatever functionality is required by the client.

The prices also include a web stats package that gives a multitude of useful information to help you determine who has been visiting your site. You can see the results for the last day, week or month in table and graphical format.

We handle the web hosting for almost all of the sites we have created for clients.

The only exceptions to this are when clients already have their hosting set up with another company.

If the hosting is set up with us it gives us full technical control and enables us to troubleshoot on the rare occasion when any problems might occur.
