Online shops
Anything and everything can now be bought and sold via the web. Setting up an online shop is less costly than a bricks and mortar equivalent but there are still many things that need to be taken into consideration before taking the plunge.
As an example of an online shop, take a look at the site we built for Geo F Trumper the well-known and long-established gentlemen's barbers and perfumers in London's West End. This site was fully custom-built incorporating all of the features that Trumpers wanted to include. It has proved to be very successful.
Another good example is the online shop built for Ruxley Manor Garden Centre, a site that contains over 5,000 products with pictures and descriptions for each one.

Geo F Trumper
We built an ecommerce-enabled website for Geo F Trumper, the famous gentlemen's perfumer and barbers in London's West End.
Elegantly designed, the ecommerce part of the site was fully custom built starting off very simply and with new facilities gradually being added over time such as the ability to add special offers and the sale of online gift vouchers.
The site also fully integrates into the Sage accounts program.
Ruxley Manor Garden Centre
Unlike the Trumpers site, the site we built for Ruxley Manor was fully-featured from the word go. Their ecommerce manager had a distinct idea as to how the site would work and we amalgamated ideas from research carried out of other large online shops.
The products database was populated by Ruxley Manor and contains over 200,000 words of description giving search engines a lot to get their teeth into.
Each of the 5,000+ products features at least one image and most have related products associated with them.
