The portfolio section of our site shows some of the work we have done and gives an idea of the variety of tasks that we have handled from simple informational sites through to custom-built online shops.

As website designers we understand the need to fuse good design with functional but unintrusive technology. A badly designed site will make your organisation look unprofessional. Likewise a well-designed good-looking site with flaky functionality just won't do the job you want it to do.

We also understand the need to ensure that your site works for you in the way that is intended. This means that we will sit down with you and discuss your business aims and will be proactive by suggesting ideas as to how your site could best be constructed to meet those aims.

Most of the websites we have built allow the client to make their own updates to various pages on the site. As an example, the news, testimonials, job opportunities and fact sheets sections of the Wyevale East website are controllable by the client allowing them to add, modify and delete items as well as to upload and add pictures to some sections.

In theory a content management system could allow for control over all of the contents of a website. In practice, we tend to recommend that only those parts of a site that are likely to change frequently need to be controlled by such a system.

Where online shops are concerned, all of the products are held in a database and it is vital for the shop to have control over the contents of this database. Once again this can be done via an administration module as in the case of the Geo F Trumper website or via a direct upload of an existing in-house product database. We implemented the latter system including all of the coding to handle the data transfer for the Ruxley Manor website.
